Because that’s what I meant.
I know what you meant, Sebastian. Are you guys preparing for Regionals?

A little competition in your life… Hm, I wonder where you could have gotten that.
Oh, I considered the swim team too, but apparently the heated pool is glitchy.

Exactly. The only excuse for a guy to be on a cheerleading squad is for the perks of the upskirts, obviously. You, on the other hand, are doing it out of your own gayness. It’s quaint, really.
I’m doing it because… it’d be nice to have a little competition in my life. I don’t get why I always seem to have to justify myself around you. I’m gay and I’m a cheerleader. If you don’t like it, uh, feel free to… look away.

You do realize this makes you the literal gayest, right?
There are three straight Cheerios guys… I’m literally the only gay guy on the squad.

You can’t be serious.
Haha, um, I’m pretty serious. I have a uniform and everything. …problem?

Thank you!!! I was trying to be somewhat calm about it but you seem to be almost as excited as I am, so there went that idea. It’s a competition! The people I’m competing against are really, really good, but it’s like you said, if I don’t do well this year, I have three more to try. And of course not! I mentioned it to Quinn via e-mail and of course Kurt but I haven’t told anyone else so you’re more than welcome to!
Calm? This is exciting, Rach! Feel free to gloat and boast and/or tell me what song you’re planning on performing. Gosh… this… wow. When you become big and famous, remember who your Tony was, okay? Oh, and I just texted Tina with the news. Expect a congratulatory text from her… as well as a possibly long rant about glee club.

It would appear that way, huh? But, um, yep! Tina and I joined the squad on Monday and Coach Sylvester… well, she was surprisingly supportive of the idea.

Also, I’m pretty sure I’m a pro at hula hooping at this point… I probably shouldn’t be as excited as I am, but c’mon, it’s not everyday you get to hone such a random skill.

I feel like we keep missing one another and I don’t approve in the slightest. But thank you, Blaine, that’s very sweet. I actually ended up receiving one! I don’t think I can really put into words the anxiousness I felt when Madame Tibideux came into my dance class. The showcase is on Saturday and I’ve been rehearsing nonstop on top of studying for finals, so I’m sure you can imagine how busy I’ve been. It’s all worth it, though.
Rachel, that’s amazing news! Congratulations! Is the showcase just a performance or is it a competition? In any case, I’m so happy for you. Do you mind if I, you know, tell everyone about it?
